Definition Database

Welcome to the new project for SoCal-LD.net - Definition Database. This section will collect definitions for this year's NFA-LD debate topic submitted by the site users. Not only are the submissions available to everyone in the community to help new debaters find good definitions but you can also vote on the definitions you like or dislike! This generates a community score for the definitions to let the best entries rise to the top of the list.

I hope this project will help you in getting started on the topic and winning rounds by having the best definitions possible. If you are new to debate and you need a primer on topicality check out this 5 part series I wrote for the site.

Browse any of the user submitted definitions by clicking on a word in the resolution listed below. Definitions for phrases that have been submitted are also listed below the resolution.

If you want to submit a phrase of two or more words just type that phrase into the word/phrase box in the share your definitions section below. You can define any of the words in the resolution as long as they appear in the exact same order as the resolution is listed (ie, you must define United States Federal Government, not United States Government).
