New Feature on the Site
With the success of the definition database I thought I would start adding a few other features to the site that I have been kicking around for awhile – up next is a NFA-LD timer!

This new tool is designed to allow you to easily time a standard NFA-LD round and keep track of prep time for each debater. I envision this tool helping out during practice rounds and at tournaments if you have access to the website during the round. I think it could also help judges keep track of timing if they have a laptop available to them in the round.
To use the timer simply click on the start button for each speech and the time will begin counting down. You can drag the green circle (which turns to yellow at 25% time remaining and red when time is expired) to adjust the time during a speech.
There is even the familiar timer beep!
Please let me know any feedback or any bugs you find using the new tool. I hope it’s helpful!

FYI, by right clicking on the link you can click save link to… and save it to your hard drive so you can have it on your pc permanently. The only downside to this is that there is no little beep at the end of time. The beep is quiet so it may not be heard anyways so it doesn’t seem like a big deal to me. I always have my timer anyways but having an extra one on my laptop set for ld does make me feel better.
Thanks again Danny!

ok, this thing is the (edited expletive)! I love it!
Danny, You are the man!
