Case list website

Saw this note on the IE-L listserve from Martin Harris of Drury:

I have created a new page to help schools prepare for Lincoln Douglas debate. It is a wiki that contains information about what cases different schools are “running.” If you do LD, or know people that do, I would appreciate whatever information you could share. It is a wiki, so open editing is allowed, just post away. Defamation, graffiti and other vandalism, however, will be removed. If you have philosophical problems with this project, please backchannel me with your concerns, but I will treat information about cases being run as in the public domain and will probably defend the free flow of information. That is to say, if you don’t want a case up there, you can erase it, but I will probably put it right back so you should backchannel me with an argument as to why you think that information should not be shared if you want it permanently down. I am open to persuasion, but I am not sure I could think of a single defensible exception for sharing information. Isn’t that kind of what academia is all about?

The caselist is here: http://nfacaselist.wikispaces.com

the first case has been added. If a school is missing, add it to the navigation panel and I will add the page asap. Instructions for editing the Wiki are available at the wiki home page.

Thanks in advance

I’ve linked to the site on the right – great idea Martin! This should help a lot in the community find both case ideas to research and neg strategies for their tournament so everyone is prepared!
