Concordia NFA-LD results
Congratulations to the 15 NFA-LD debaters who participated in the first Southern California NFA-LD tournament of the year at Concordia! After four spirited rounds we broke the top 8 debaters to quarterfinals. Of note, there were two 2-2 teams that did not clear: Cerritos’ Javon Payton & Pt Loma’s MacLean Andrews – Congrats!
Also of note is that 5 schools entered the division and all 5 were represented in the elimination rounds! Congratulations to Pasadena and Pt Loma for their first elimination rounds at a SoCal LD tournament!

Riverside Angel Ayala - (2 – 2) - 5th place
Next tournament in Southern California is the Azusa Pacific Cougar Classic – good luck! I’ll most some files we used this past weekend and other information about the tournament.

Also of note, the semifinalists all qualified for the NFA-LD National Tournament in April. No word yet on who is hosting nationals this year, but I hope that our NFA-LD friends in SoCal will consider a trip to nationals!
