LD in California: Make it Hot!
Greetings LD,
I just returned from the UK last night and was hit with some interesting news on my arrival, LD will not be held at our Northern California Season Opener due to a withdraw of entries.
I wanted to take a moment to remind the community that in order the gain the maximum of education and competition from this event you have to start early in the season.
The information that Danny and John have made available is substantial, and make it easier than ever to be a part of this event and community. I applaud their efforts.
For those of you in Northern California, the next local LD tournament will be the Paul Winters Invitational at UOP. There is also the California swing in so-cal two weeks before that. Lets bring the heat so that we can get your plans of LD off the ground.
Just look at it as a chance to let out your anger about so-cal taking all of your water! eh? -Kasey

Really, LD got pulled? I feel so out of the loop down here in So Cal while you guys are having fun up there.
I just wanted to say that I have been trying to get my school into the LD groove for those with more experience so we can get this thing off the ground.

I know you guys over at UoP had a killer Africom case last year so I look forward to seeing what you guys got if we see you this year, I can’t wait.
If anyone actually reads this, I am really hoping that CSUN has LD and that we can run what we got even with out the LCDC info I think we have all had enough time (maybe not the printer ~cough~me~cough~) to find what we need to be competitive.
Yeah, the Delta Mendota (spelling is off) Canal is where So cal gets most of it’s water from. It went right behind my house when I used to live up there. You don’t even want to know what is in that shit and how many dead bodies/abandoned cars they pull out a year.

I fully agree and I too applaud their efforts in maintaining such a wonderful site. I would have to also state that I was saddened that I was not able to attend and compete at the Golden Gate Opener due to lack/withdraw of entries. I was one of two entries from Riverside CC hoping to get this year started in a big way. So I encourage everyone in Cali (North and South) to read up on the Cuba topic and at least try the event
