2008 PSCFA Spring Champs

Congrats to the following debate schools for participating in NFA-LD at the 2008 PSCFA Spring Champs. NFA-LD had 20 initial entries which dropped to 16 once round 1 began.

The following six schools participated:

  1. Cal Baptist
  2. Cerritos College
  3. El Camino
  4. NAU
  5. Orange Coast
  6. Santiago Canyon

Following the four prelim rounds it was a brutal break to semi-finals with two 3-1 debaters not clearing.

There is only one elim round scheduled for NFA-LD so we did a sort of bronze/gold type of thing. The two debaters winning their semi-final round were then sorted by prelim rank to determine 1st & 2nd place which technically they shared since there was no debate. The two debaters then who dropped in Semis were awarded 3rd place.

A special congratulations is due to El Camino for breaking 3 of the 4 competitors.
