2008 SoCal LD Championships

Cerritos College hosted the 2nd annual Southern California LD Debate Championships Sunday, February 16, 2008. The following 13 schools competed in either NFA-LD or Parli-LD:

1. California Baptist University
2. Cerritos College
3. El Camino College
4. El Paso Community College
5. Glendale Community College, CA
6. Irvine Valley College
7. Moorpark College
8. Orange Coast College
9. Palomar College
10. Pasadena City College
11. Riverside City College
12. Santiago Canyon College
13. Solano College

There were 26 entries in NFA-LD and 24 in Parli-LD. Last year NFA-LD did not even make as an event at the tournament so I’m very excited about the growth of the event! Congratulations to El Camino, Moorpark, Orange Coast and Santiago Canyon for their first NFA-LD tournament.

We broke to a bronze/gold elimination round format. Congratulations to the following debaters for breaking:
