Happy New Year
I hope everyone had a fantastic new year! We’ve got a lot in store for the site this year and hope that lots of people try NFA-LD this semester! The California Community College Forensics Association will offer NFA-LD at the state tournament (each school gets 4 LD entries – they may be divided between parli-ld or nfa-ld as each school sees fit).
Additionally, the Phi Rho Pi 2 year college nationals will offer NFA-LD against CEDA/NDT debate. There are no restrictions on the size of the entry beyond the normal limits.
Add in Pt Loma, Cerritos’ Southern California LD Championship, and PSCFA Spring Champs, that looks like at least 5 tournaments for community college students for this semester – and three for 4 year university students (all in February to boot!) – that’s a lot of rounds!
We hope this site will continue to offer instructional posts for competitors, free evidence to use in rounds, coaching and judging advice, as well as tournament information. If you have any questions or contributions please feel free to email us.
