Female Circumcision
This is one of those cases that many debaters find difficult to debate – but I think that’s mainly because we often do not read articles or come across the various arguments for and against – it’s just a taboo subject and that’s unfortunate. It’s a real debated issue in the Greater Horn and something that the US and the world are interested in discussing. Pro or Con I think this article from the NY Times Blogs and accompanying links would be a great background read for anyone debating female circumcision this year.
