PSCFA Fall Champs
Congratulations to all the competitors in NFA-LD at PSCFA Fall Champs. There were 11 entries once the rounds started due to a couple of drops because debaters were in parli quarterfinals.
After four rounds of competition, the tournament held one final round. Adam Fluke (4-0 prelim record) from Northern Arizona University prevailed as Affirmative over Jon Cottrell (3-1 prelim record) from Modesto Junior College on a 3-0 decision. Congratulations to both debaters and especially Jon who I understand was competing in his first NFA-LD tournament!
Congratulations to debaters from Cal Baptist, Modesto Junior College, Northern Arizona, Riverside Community College, and San Diego Christian College. 5 Schools is a great showing of interest in NFA-LD!
I was able to record a video of round 4 that is available on the video page. Hope to see more people participate at Spring Champs!
