New Feature – SoCal-LD.net Card Cutter – Free for two weeks

We are proud to announce a new feature available at SoCal-LD.net – an online card cutter tool. This feature will allow you to easily create briefs for cards you are cutting online (or that you type in from a hardcopy). The program will allow you to save as many cards in a brief and arrange those cards in the order you want. You can also create optional text to go before each card or groups of cards.

Finally, you can create a brief that will include any optional text before cards, the citation, and the evidence. It is then easy to copy/paste from the website into your word processing program to create ready to use briefs.

If you do not already have an account with SoCal-LD.net you will need to register one. Following the two week preview we will charge $0.01 a card – that’s right, just a penny a card to use the service. All cards will be saved for at least 4 weeks on the system depending on usage and storage capabilities (So, if this gets out of control and takes all our site bandwidth we may need to start purging old cards – we’ll make an announcement!).

Each account is initially setup with 10 free cards. Go to the My Account link to add cards for free once you get below 10. Starting on November 1st all accounts will be reset and can be refilled in 100 card increments (only $1!) through an online payment system. We’re really excited to offer this new online service to the NFA-LD community so try it today!

Click here to access the card cutter or the link on the right hand side of the page.

To try out the system you can use the test account:
Login:cardcutter
password: cardcutter

however, that account is reset each night so nothing will be saved.

Thanks,
Danny Cantrell
