SoCal-LD.net Debate Camp at Cal Baptist Oct 12 & Tournament Oct 13
September 6, 2007
On behalf of California Baptist University, it is my pleasure to invite you to the 2007 SoCal-LD.net Debate Camp, to be held at CBU on Friday, October 12th, 2007, and the SoCal-LD.net Warm Up Invitational to be held at CBU on Saturday, October 13th. Our mission is to allow as many students as possible to learn about NFA Lincoln/Douglas debate and get a running start into the new L/D season.
A couple of notes to be aware of:
• A Saturday-only Lincoln/Douglas tournament that starts at 10am and will be finished by dinner!
• 10am means many local schools will be able to attend the tournament without getting hotel rooms!
• Incredibly low fees of $10 per debater for the tournament, and there are no fees for the camp. That’s right, it’s free!
• Your students can attend the camp only, the tournament only, or both!
Please note the schedule and information below, and direct all questions to me at mmarse@calbaptist.edu or (951) 343-4207.
Thanks,
Michael Marse
Asst. Professor of Communication Studies
California Baptist University
