Welcome to SoCal-LD.net
Welcome and thank you for stopping by SoCal-LD.net. The site is officially one year old and has gone through a lot of changes over the past year. I would especially like to thank all the debaters and coaches who helped with evidence and feedback to make the site more useful to new and returning NFA-LD debaters. Last season, SoCal-LD was the online site I was aware of that posted example 1ACs, disadvantages, and counterplan ideas for anyone in the country to download and use at tournaments. Not surprisingly, NFA-LD in Southern California took off!
This season brings two new authors to the site: Kasey Gardner (University of The Pacific) and Konrad Hack (Concordia, Irvine). They are joined by returning authors Mike Marse (Cal Baptist) and John Boyer (Lafayette College). We are aiming to have at least one new post every 3 days on the site divided by the categories listed on the sidebar. The goal is to have NFA-LD information available to competitors, judges, and coaches. Comments have been enabled on all posts and we look forward to your feedback.
I’m looking forward to having another year of strong NFA-LD competition in Southern California and across the country. Thank you to the authors for signing up to provide a unique resource for NFA-LD competitors across the country. Good luck and please feel free to email any of us for more information.
Sincerely,
Danny Cantrell
Founder, SoCal-LD.net
