University of Richmond – Free Files

I have to admit again, I am very happy that the HS c-x topic somewhat overlaps with our NFA-LD topic. It means there is tons of free stuff available that is *somewhat* relevant. This makes it helpful to see what good files look like, get ideas for cases and disadvantages, and overall help in researching to see the citations everyone is using.

Here is one example – the University of Richmond Debate Team put a bunch of their evidence and/or indexes from their high school camp online here. While some of the material is only the index/table of contents for files – this could be very helpful in starting your research to see some of the main arguments within each area.

The General Negative File is awesome – a great starter file that would be helpful for your first tournament to have some case arguments against most generic areas. While some are specific to the geographical area for HS (sub-saharan africa) a lot are helpful with generic solvency/advantage areas.

Enjoy!
