Topicality
I’m not sure how much topicality gets argued in NFA-LD rounds, but here are two files that should help you get started. One is on the word “adopt” (Thanks to John Boyer, Lafayette College) and the other is “renewable energy.” My viewpoint is that it’s always good to have topicality to fall back on if you have nothing else =)
As a further note, you should work on having topicality front lines justifying your choice of case area. Usually your solvency articles will talk about how your case is “renewable energy.” Make sure to cut those cards too just in case the negative team has a weird definition of renewable energy that doesn’t include your case area.
