2007 UCSD Sun God Invitational

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

UCSD is pleased to invite you to the 4th Annual Sun God Invitational to be held January 20-21, 2007 . We will offer 8 preliminary rounds of parliamentary debate breaking to appropriate elimination rounds in one open division. Last year we broke to octo-finals and we anticipate the same this year. We will have central topic announcement with 20 minutes of prep time. We are also pleased to offer NFA-LD in one open division with no entry cost and plenty of resources available prior to the tournament to aid debaters in trying out the event.

We will be following NPDA & NFA guidelines. There will be a warm room and disclosure will be strongly encouraged after ballots are returned. Enclosed you will find more information on tournament details and procedures. Complimentary lunch will be provided on both Saturday and Sunday to all participants. We are also happy to announce that we have a tournament hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott, located just a few miles from campus.

We are keeping our entry fees low and hope you will be able to join us for another fantastic weekend. Entries are due by Tuesday, January 16, 2007 , at 6:00 P.M. PST via the website: http://www.forensicstournament.net
